Programme on vigilance cum financial literacy awareness organized Jai Kumar Verma 11/5/2016 10:26:10 PM Early times Report Rajouri, Nov 5: Under the chairmanship and guidance of R.K. Chhibber, J&K Grameen Bank, Area Office Rajouri in collaboration with NABARD organized a Vigilance cum Financial Literacy Awareness Programme in Vigilance Awareness Week-2016 on the theme "Public Participation in promoting integrity and eradicating corruption" at village Pathan Mora , Panchayat Dasal, Rajouri through BO Rajouri. Speaking on the occasion R.K. Narang, Area Manager Rajouri/Poonch, informed the participants regarding various safeguards to be kept in mind in order to be aware and prevent cases of cheating/ corruption while availing different banking facilities with special reference to use of ATM cards, Mobile banking etc. All the participants present in the programme took integrity pledge not to indulge in corrupt practices. P.P. Singh, Senior Manager, Area Office Rajouri/Poonch informed the participants at length regarding the benefits of social security schemes named PMJJBY( Pradhan Mantri Jiwan Jyoti Bima Yojana), PMSBY( Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana), APY( Atal Pension Yojana). He informed the gathering that these schemes have been designed to provide security cover to the poor masses. Representatives of various line departments also attended the programme. Besides a huge gathering, Panchs & Sarpanchs of the area also attended the programme.
