J&K industrial sector worst sufferers in terms of ease doing business: BBIA 11/8/2016 10:06:49 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 8: Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) has criticized the state government, for what they termed as turning a blind eye towards it. According to press release, a meeting of was held under the presidentship of its president Lalit Mahajan. The meeting discussed the alleged failure of various government departments related to industrial sector in the implementation of ease of doing business concept due to which our state has been ranked at 29th position in comparison to neighboring states.In respect of Power Development Department all is not well as the department failed to adopt the 'Ease of Doing Business Concept' for the sanction of power connections as it will takes months to clear the pending power connections due to procedural delays as the files moves from table to table between the M&RE, STD & System and operation wing of PDD.
