NCP Chief holds office bearers' meet, discusses political scenario | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 14: Former minister and NCP chief J&K state Thakur Randhir Singh discussed with senior office bearers of the NCP social , political and other issues relating to the state and country . While briefing the media men and the senior leaders of the party Singh said today is the most auspicious day the country is celebrating the Birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj who had been apostle of universal love, piety and spiritual faith and his ideals of humanism and social equality should continue to inspire society. Singh said that by following the teachings of Guru Nanak Devji, the world can overcome differences and work together to fight ignorance, poverty, hunger and disease. J&K State NCP Chief Thakur Randhir Singh who is associated with Sharad Pawar since 1964 appreciated Modi's speech praising NCP Supremo in Pune on behalf of Jammu And Kashmir State NCP and himself. Singh said that he has visited Pawar's village Baramati a number of times and rest of the Maharashtra and knows very well that Pawar is a visionary leader and he is the first leader who introduced drip irrigation system throughout Maharashtra and gave a very strong cooperative movement in all sectors and today I can say as a National President Aromatic Plants Growers Association of India how various Horticulture commodities have come up in the country under one platform which was started by Sharad Pawar when he was Union Agriculture minister. Krishan Kumar Digra Vice President State NCP and Chairman NCP Legal cell said that Jammu and Kashmir state NCP under the honest leadership of Former Minister Thakur Randhir is the first in the state who welcomed withdrawing Rs 1000 and Rs 500 notes Modi's war on Black money and has appealed Modi to utilize the rich experience of Sharad Pawar in agriculture sector in favour of farmers who represent 70% population. |
