Jammu, Nov 14: To commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul-Kamal Azad (11 November) the first Education Minister of free India, Adbi Kunj J&K, Jammu celebrated National Education day today by organizing a special literary function at KIDZEE School Talab Tillo, Jammu.
On the occasion Adbi Kunj Jammu also celebrated Children's Day the birth day of first Prime Minister of Free India Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru. During the occasion members also extended greetings on Gurpurab - the birthday of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and observed martyrdom of Baba Jitto. In the creative literary session a composite MUSHAIRA was also held in which poets recited their poems and songs on the various aspects of the shining lives of these respected and holy personalities. Some of the poets were included Fozia Mughal Zia, Santosh Nadan, Aarash Om Dalmotra Rajpuri, Rajan Singh Samass, Vinod Kumar, Azad Mahi-Ud-Din Badgami, Masoom Kishtwari, Bishan Dass Khak, Raj Kamal, Raz Reyaz, M.L. Ganjoo Frisal, Sanjeev Kumar, Girdhari Lal Rahi, Rajeev Kumar, Manzoor Badana, Romesh Rahi, M.S. Kamra, Ass.Kay.Gupta, Ram Pal Dogra Pali, Vinod Katib and Sham Talib. The meet was presided over by noted poet and writer Gardhari Lal Rahi while Bishan Dass Khak was conducted the proceeding of the meet. Aarash Om Dalmotra Rajpuri Chairman Adbi Kunj presented the vote of thanks. |
