Pvt schools ignore date sheet: CEO orders probe ET Impact 11/17/2016 10:27:51 PM Danish Mohammad Early Times Report Ramban, Nov 17: Taking cognizance of a news report published in Early Times about private schools in Ramban district not following the exam date sheet issued by the Education department for the final examinations of class 1st to 7th and 9th, the Chief Education Officer (CEO) has ordered an inquiry and asked the Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) of all the six education zones to submit their reports in this regard so that action can be taken against the defaulters. Sources told Early Times the ZEOs of Banihal, Ramban, Ukhral, Khari, Batote and Gool have been asked to submit their reports regarding the private schools which have not followed the date sheet issued by the Education department. Sources said that CEO is going to take action against the defaulters after receiving the report from ZEOs, "Defaulters will be fined and the amount will be donated towards Red Cross fund in the district," they added. It is pertinent to mention that Chief Education Officer Ramban had issued the date sheet for terminal two T2 (i:e final exams) w.e.f 03-11-2015 to 14-11-2013. The Chief Education Officer in this order mentioned that all government and private schools in the district Ramban to follow this order and conduct the exam as per the date sheet issued by the CEO Office. It was also mentioned in the order that in the non compliance would invite strict action against the defaulters under rule .The date for the declaration of results has been fixed W e f 21 -11-2016 to 26-112016 and the new date for the new classifications for the next session has been fixed as 28-11-2016.
