Demonitisation effect: Cracks appear in separatist camps | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 17: It appears to be the side effect of demontisation move of the Union Government as cracks developed in the separatist leadership about new calendar. Realizing that it was not possible for them to continue their stir after demontisation move some Hurriyat leaders have announced some relexation in their new calendar but the same move was strongly opposed by other groups. Credible sources in the separatist groups said that there was frustration among separatist leaders after demontisation move because these groups finding it impossible to engage youth as daily wagers to throw stones and indulge into arsons. Separatiist leaders are not looking for a way out so they have relaxed their calener. But other groups smelt "sell-out" in the move of giving relexation. According to a local news agency of Kashmir, Masrat Alam led Jammu Kashmir Muslim League Thursday expressed resentment and said that it has some reservations about the new protest calendar issued by joint Resistance leadership. Muhammad Yousuf Mir, acting Chairman Muslim League told that news agency his organization has certain reservations about the new protest calendar issued by Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik."We will explain everything and put our point of view once we will consult Masrat Aalam who is languishing in Jail. The situation is not conducive for us as most of the leaders of the organization are behind the bars," he said. Pertinently, for the first time since July 8 the Joint resistance leadership has not asked people to observe complete shutdown for the two days on coming Saturday and Sunday. |
