Jammu, Nov 17: Police today arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for last two years. "The arrested has been identified Manjeet Singh son of Kartar Singh of Krimchi Udhampur," police said. "On specific information about the movement of the accused, SDPO City West Jammu constituted a special team which conducted raid at place and arrested him, Police said.
Police further said, "four warrants U/S 512 Cr.PC in cases under FIR nos. 91/2010, 205/2010, 49/2011 and 68/2011 of Police Station Nowabad issued from City Court Jammu.
"He was absconding since 10-09-2014, police said. The catch was made by in-charge police post Talab Tillo, SI Rahul Mahajan under the supervision of SHO Nowabad Inspector Raghubir Singh and SDPO City West DySP Nikhil Rasgotra. |
