HC directs CS to appear in person today 11/23/2016 10:31:04 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 23: (JNF): In a contempt petition filed by the secretaries of Chief Justice and judges for not giving them grades equivalent to KAS officers as per a court judgement, a high court division bench of CJ N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Tashi Rabstan today directed the chief secretary to appear in person in the court tomorrow. The petitioners have sought initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for non- implementation of a division bench judgment whereby it had held that secretaries of CJ, judges were entitled to grades equivalent to KAS. After hearing the two sides, the bench directed the chief secretary to appear in person on November 24.
