Early Times Report

Jammu, July 9:Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) activists today staged protest demonstration and gherao office of State Vigilance Organization (SVO). The NPP activists led by Harsh Dev Singh JKNPP Chairman and Yash Paul Kundal State President Young Panthers today raised slogans against BJP and central govt for promoting a culture of corruption in the state. They further submitted a memorandum to Director Vigilance over the subject seeking early action in the matter.
"Everyday there are reports in media besides social media of political parties especially the BJP trying to break MLAs of other parties through enticements, allurements and other corrupt practices. The loud public whispers suggest the BJP trying to lure MLAs of other parties by lucrative offers. While BJP is trying to break other parties, some of its own MLAs are hobnobbing with congress and other parties in pursuance of better prospects being offered to them and reportedly settling the terms with them. These BJP MLAs include those who were earlier congressmen but had ditched the party at the eleventh hour to take the benefit of Modi wave", said Singh. The BJP people have further been heard saying that with their own Speaker in chair, they would be able to circumvent anti-defection law in the state, rued Harsh. The matter being serious, the vigilante agencies in the state need to be immediately set in motion so as to nip the evil in the bud by aborting the ill conceived move of horse trading through legal action against politicians attempting formation of govt through backdoor, he maintained.
Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion included Rajesh Padgotra, Gagan Partap Singh, Khajoor Singh, K.K Sharma, Rajeshwar Singh Sambyal, Arun Khajuria, Mohinder Singh, Anil Rakwal, Rampaul Sharma, Rashpaul Singh, Udhayveer Singh, Rakesh Verma, Rohit Sharma, Ahok Chouhan, Jeevan Sharma besides others.
