| Food Safety Wing conducts inspection at Baltal | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, July 9: Food Safety Wing of Drugs & Food Control Organization J&K, Srinagar has deputed Food Safety Officer in order to ensure quality and hygienic food to yatris at Base Camp Baltal. The inspection of Free Langars, monitoring the Personnel hygiene, Sanitation and other requirements needed under the Provisions of Food Safety & Standards Act -2006 is being done on daily basis.
Routine Samples being lifted from Food Business Establishments to check their quality as well as the Standards under the Act.
Food Testing Laboratory has also been placed at Baltal to conduct preliminary analysis of the Food Products served to yatris. |
