kathua, July 20: The free five days basic course in shooting organized by the KPS Shooting club concluded today.
The course started on 16th July, 2018 under the expert guidance of Sandeep Singh, national coach of the Indian Shooting Team and an Olympian. Boys and girls of various schools and colleges of the district participated in the training programme with great interest.
On the concluding day, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, President, J&K Rifle Association, Nasir Ahmed, Additional S.P., Kathua, Nikhil Rasotra, Dy.S.P., (HQ) and Sohan Lal, District President, J&K Rifle Association were present.
Er. Nirmaljit Singh Amn, President of the KPS Shooting Club and Chairman of KPS Education Trust awarded the participants with certificates. He said that the KPS Shooting Range is the first of its kind sports facility with a state of art technology, latest air pistols and rifles apart from expert coaches and trainers. |
