JAMMU, Apr 13: Keeping up its tradition, MHAC celebrated Baisakhi in a colourful & cheerful manner here today. On occasion of Baisakhi Festival, a mass scale celebration was held on the premises of MHAC Junior School ground.
After the Morning assembly. Vanshika Bhatt VD & Ananya Tandon VIIIA spoke on celebration of Baisakhi in Hindi & English respectively martyrs of Jallianwalla massacre were also remembered and paid tributes to them. There was a cultural programme with a Baisakhi dance 'Sade Kaithan which Rab Wasda' by the students of classes III , IV, V, VI, VII, VIII. To enhance the beauty of the programme a tractor was decorated to give an authentic look of Baisakhi.
Few students orated the history & importance of Baisakhi. Principal Sween Puri congratulated all the students & teachers on Baisakhi & wished them all the best for the coming days. |
