Poonch, Apr 13: It is tradition in Poonch that everything is subservient to politics.
The former legislators are reluctant to vacate the quarters to make room for the officials.
According to the sources, one of the former Poonch legislators was given a quarter in the complex of Dak Banglow Poonch who treats it as personal property.
Sources informed that legislator has forcefully occupied the quarters and keep Personal Security Officers there whereas many professors, Engineers, and KAS officers are without proper and safe accommodations.
Locals have expressed their anguish over carelessness of government officials who are not aware about their duties and responsibilities and have left illegal quarter for drinker PSOs of a former legislator. They have appealed to governor Satya Pal Malik to take strict notice of the matter and take action against negligent officials. |
