SAMBA, Apr 13: District Police Samba has foiled bovine smuggling bid in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ghagwal by rescuing 12 bovines.
Acting on reliable information received at P/S Ghagwal about smuggling of bovines by foot via Rajpura-Ghagwal Road, a Police Party of P/S Ghagwal headed by Inspector Rajeev Kumar, SHO P/S Ghagwal under the supervision of Deepak Digra, DySP headquarters Samba laid special naka at Harsath near Ghagwal and rescued 12 cattle which were being smuggled by foot toward Kashmir. All the rescued cattle were shifted to safer place and a case FIR No. 35/2019 U/S 188 RPC, 2/3 PCA act registered at P/S Ghagwal. Further investigation is taken up. |
