| DPS Nagbani holds Aptitude Test | | |

Jammu, Aug 2: An Aptitude test was held in DPS Nagbani today with a vision to remove the fear of Maths and reasoning from students' minds and to test the Mathematical skills and Mental Ability.
This test was conducted in the school from 1st to 10th standard. The students used their innovative methods and problem-solving skills to solve the papers. This paper was conducted so that the students should learn innovative tricks which will help them to apply Mathematical and reasoning concepts in real life situations also. The students participated in it whole heartedly and enjoyed this test thoroughly. This activity is surely going to give an insight into learning which ignites a spark in them to solve the problem faster and increase their speed, accuracy and concentration. It is the known fact that formulas and calculations when applied build self-confidence, improve academic performance and reduce counting on finger among students. The Principal of the school R.K.Verma said that the use of skills in Mathematics and reasoning as a part of classroom curriculum which may prove to be highly beneficial and innovative in enhancing Mental Mathematics skills and interest among the students. |
