What about Kashmiris: Shah Faesal on security advisory for tourists, Amarnath pilgrims | | | Early Times Report srinagar, Aug 2: After the Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) administration issued a security advisory for the tourists and Amarnath yatra pilgrims citing terror threat, former IAS officer-turned-politician Shah Faesal asked the government if a similar advisory is being considered for the Kashmir locals. In view of the "latest intelligence inputs of terror threats", the state J&K asked the Amarnath pilgrims and the tourists to curtail their yatra and leave Kashmir as soon as possible. The Central government sources also said that the security advisory is serious. Reacting to the government's direction to Amarnath pilgrims and the tourists to leave Kashmir, Shah Faesal asked if the Kashmiris should also migrate to other places in view of the advisory or he asked, "is it that our lives do not matter". Shah Faesal said, "JK Govt has asked Tourists and Amarnath Yatris to leave Kashmir immediately in view of a security threat. Is the government considering any such advisory for locals also?
