| UFD organises plantation drive at APS Kaluchack | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 2: In continuation with the "Greening Jammu" drive, Urban Forestry Division Jammu in collaboration with Army Public School Kaluchak organized a plantation drive with plantation of medicinal plants in school premises.
Sonal Sharma Principal Army Public School along students and staff planted 500 plants of different species. A medicinal plant garden was also established by the school where some medicinal plants were planted by Rakesh Verma Range Officer Sunjwan. Sonal Sharma expressed her sincere gratitude to Forest Department especially Urban Forestry Division Jammu for rendering support in plantation drive in her school premises.
Another plantation drive was organized by Urban Forestry Division in collaboration with SD Sabha Old Rehari and members of Sanatan Dharam Sabha Rehari planted 30 plants of different species. The drive was accompanied by teachers of SD Sabha School and school children. Anil Dev Slathia Range Officer along with staff of Talab Tillo Range organized the plantation drive. The plantation drives were held in the overall supervision of Sammer Bahrti IFS Chief Conservator of Forests Jammu, Simuel Chankgjia, Conservator of Forests East Circle Jammu, Sunil Singh Divisional Forest Officer Urban Forestry Division Jammu. |
