| Police drag, beat BSF, CISF aspirants | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 28: Scores of youth who have applied for various posts in Border Security Force (BSF) and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) today were dragged and beaten to pulp by Jammu & Kashmir Police personnel while they were holding a protest in support of their demands.
The protesters assembled at the Tawi bridge and lodged a protest demonstration while demanding their absorption in BSF and CISF respectively. They resorted to vociferous sloganeering during the protest and accused the Bharatiya Janta Party of playing with the sentiments and emotions of unemployed youth.
While the protest was going on a posse of police personnel appeared on the scene and started beating the agitated youth. As the protesters offered stiff resistance the police personnel started dragging them and whisked them in police vehicles. The agitated youth alleged that BJP is misleading the youth about fake claims of tiding over the unemployment. |
