DLU alleges Forest Dept harassing owners of Saw Mills | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, March 3: Dogra Labour Union (DLU) Jammu and Kashmir alleged that the State Forest Department harassing the owners of Saw Mills, even refusing renewal of the liecenses of Saw Mills across the Jammu Province. Addressing the media persons, President Kuldeep Raj Chalotra said that since the previous government have totally failed to eradicate poverty and providing jobs to the unemployed educated youth, it's unfortunate that those who have managed their self-employment by establishing their own business units as Saw Mills are being forced to windup their business units. He further said that Saw Mills play an important role by meeting the demands of the masses in Rural as well as urban areas. Even farmers are depended upon these mills as they get necessary tools manufactured from these mills for use in agriculture farming. Union appealed the state government to looking into the matter as numbers of families are dependent upon this business. |
