Mufti retains Home, Nirmal Singh gets Power
New Govt allots portfolios

Jammu, Mar 3: The new Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on Tuesday evening allotted the portfolios to all the cabinet ministers as well as ministers of state.
As per the details available with "Early Times" Chief Secretary Mohammad Iqbal Khandey today issued a circular pertaining to the allotment of portfolios to its cabinet and ministers of states.
Chief Minister retained prestigious Home and Planning Department, while key department of Finance went to Dr Haseeb Drabu. Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh also get the key portfolio of Power, Housing and Urban Development. Two BJP Ministers of State Chering Dorjay and Abdul Gani Kohli were given independent charge of Cooperatives and Transport respectively.
The portfolios of Cabinet Ministers include Dr. Nirmal Kumar Singh (Deputy Chief Minister), Power Development and Housing & Urban Development.
Abdul Rehman Veeri, Horticulture and Haj & Auqaf. Chander Parkash, Industries and Commerce. Javaid Mustafa Mir, Revenue, Lal Singh, Health & Medical Education and ARI & Trainings, Abdul Haq Khan, Rural Development, Bali Bhagat, Social Welfare, Forest, Ecology and Environment, Syed Basharat Ahmed Bukhari Law, Justice & Parliamentary affairs and Relief & Rehabilitation, Sukhnandan Kumar, Public Health Engineering, Chowdhary Zulfikar Ali , Consumers Affairs and Public Distribution and Tribal affairs, Sajad Gani Lone, Science & Technology and Animal Husbandry, Haseeb A. Drabu , Finance, Labour & Employment and Culture, Ghulam Nabi Lone, Agriculture Production, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, Public Works, Floriculture and Parks, Imran Raza Ansari, Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services and Sports and Naeem Akhter, Education.
Ministers of State include Chering Dorjay, MoS Cooperative (Independent Charge) and MoS Ladakh Affairs, Abdul Majid Padder Public Health Engineering, Irrigation & Flood Control, Animal Husbandry and Forest, Sunil Kumar Sharma Public Works (R&B) and Revenue, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Industries and Commerce, Power Development Department and Housing and Urban Development, Abdul Ghani Kohli, MoS Transport (Independent Charge), MoS Rural Development and Horticulture, Priya Sethi, Information, Education and Culture and Pawan Kumar Gupta, Finance and Information Technology and Asiya Naqash, Health, Social Welfare and Transport.
All other departments/subjects not assigned to any of the above ministers shall remain with the chief minister.
