Handicrafts Cooperative Societies organizes awareness workshop 3/3/2015 11:29:58 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 3: One day awareness camp cum workshop of Handicrafts artisans and members of Handicrafts Cooperative Societies of District, Jammu was held at village Ranjan on Tuesday. According to press release, the camp was organized by SH Shah Deputy Registrar Industrial Cooperative Societies, Jammu with the collaboration of the Sai Art and crafts Handicrafts Industrial Cooperative Society, Ranjan. Round about 200 participants both male and female from the Village Ranjan area were present. In which Tariq Ahmed Ganai, Director Handicrafts was the Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion Director Handicrafts appreciated the efforts of the department for organizing such type of awareness camps. He also make aware the participants about the schemes of the Department such as registration of Artisans credit cards, Micro credit plan schemes and registration of Handicrafts Industrial Cooperative and others and emphasized upon the participants to avail the benefits of all such schemes lunched by the Department of Handicrafts. He directed to Assistant Director Handicrafts Jammu to start Phoolkari Training Centre in the area in the first week of April 2015. In order to achieve the registration targets within time frame period he gave directions to HTO's and A.H.T.O's that artisans should be registered on spot and registration work should be completed within a day. S.H Shah Dy. Registrar Induscos, Jammu also spoke on the occasion and make aware the schemes of the Department for the benefits of Artisans. Other those spoke on the occasion included Parveen Kumar Assistant Registrar Induscos, Jammu, Vijay Singh Sambyal HTO, Ashwani Kumar HTO, Sarpanch Sanjeev Singh and Panches of the area and a gave heart full thanks to the chief guest for opening of a training centre in the area.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
