Jammu, Mar 8: Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti, Jaipur under the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund in collaboration with Viklang Chhatra Trust, Akhnoor, JRC Home For Handicapped, Udhaywala and Sultan ul Arifaan Artificial Limb centre, Srinagar have organized a week long free Jaipur Foot/Limb/Caliper at The Paradise Home for Aged and Kids, Karan Vihar, Jammu International Volunteer Foundation (IVF), J&K and District Red Cross Jammu are supporting the camp through volunteers under Social Liabilities Towards Disables. Till date 25 tricycles, 11 wheelchairs, 13 artificial limbs/foot/calipers and 10 crutches are distributed among the physically handicapped persons from different districts of Jammu Region in the camp which got started on March 6 With the kind cooperation of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu and Director Health Services, Jammu and respective DCs, CMOs of Jammu Region who identified the needy people and made necessary arrangements for transportation of the convenience of the beneficiaries. Mohd Latif Pandita, Manager, BMVSS, Srinagar Branch alongwith his team of 9 technicians is rendering quick and commendable services in the camp. |
