Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 8: Jammu Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC) today staged a protest demonstration and burnt effigy of Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi blaming the double standard of BJP on J&K issues here today at Press Club Jammu. According to press release, the protest was lead by Shahnawaz Choudhary, State president of Youth Congress. Activist of youth congress shouted slogans against Bhartiya Janta Party, and blamed the PM Narender Modi for double standard on Kashmir issue. They also condemned the anti-national statements of Mufti Mohd. Sayeed in presence of Modi and also condemned the alleged silence of the Prime Minister on the matter. Speaking to the media persons, Shahnawaz Choudhary said that BJP has formed the coalition government with the PDP and is silent on every action of the PDP at centre too. He further added that BJP is having a double standard at national level and towards the state of J&K. He also added that Mufti led government has freed a separatist who is a threat to the national security as he is not a political prisoner but a terrorist. The youth congress will never tolerate his release. If such anti-national, pro- Pakistan leaders are released, youth congress will continue its protest till the Prime Minister does not give a satisfactory reply on the matter. "The Prime Minister, Union Home Minister, RSS besides MoS in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh and Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh, who belongs to Jammu region, should clarify their stand on the issue of PDP's soft corner towards separatists and anti-nationals", he said. Senior Congress leader Surinder Singh Shingari also joined youth congress protest demonstration. Other main youth congress leaders who were present on the occasion included Satish Sharma, Lok Sabha President, Jatinder Chib, Assembly President Gandhinagar, Ajaz Choudhary, Assembly President Mendhar, Hoshyar Singh, AYC Vice president Raipur Domana, Ricky Dalotra, AYC General Secretary, Jammu West, Shabir Kohli and others. Uday Chib, National Secretary of NSUI, Neeraj Kundan, State president, NSUI J&K and Sunny Parihar, District president NSUI Jammu were also present in the protest demonstration. |
