Jammu, May 20: Joint Development Welfare Committee (JDWC) elected office bearers in meeting held here today.
The meeting of general public of Durga Nagar Wazir Lane and Friends colony was held here today under the Presidentship of Dr I J Bakshi. D D Sharma was elected as Chairman, Dr I J Bakshi was re- elected as President while as Anand Kishore Gupta as Vice President, Susheel Kotwal as General Secretary, Sehdev Singh as Organising Secretary and Ravi Bakshi as cashier and Dileep Matas, Koushal, Bhubesh Sharma, Jaidev Singh Manhas and Rajesh Kumar as members unanimously. Prominent citizen of the area were present in the meeting who discussed various issues confronted by the inhabitants of the area which include water crisis, power cuts and bad conditions of roads and other developmental works. To highlight their demands at the highest level and get attention from the Government for the development of the area, the Committee has decided to meet MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA). |
