HC orders status quo over IGC Phase-III in Samba 5/20/2015 11:16:01 PM Early Times Report Jammu, May 20: in response to a petition in regard to objections by some locals over the land acquisition for the IGC Phase -III in Samba district, High Court J&K has passed a status quo order on disbursement of compensation till next hearing to the awardees under the State Land Acquisition Act, 1990. Advocate R P Sharma appearing for the petitioners presented facts of case of issues of aggrieved land owners hailing from village Rakh Amb Tali where state government is acquiring land under the State Land Acquisition Act 1990 and disbursing the compensation to the awardees and Court gong the facts passed the judgement on May 19. Pertinent to mention J&K Govt is going to acquire the land to establish Phase III at IGC Samba at at proposed site in village Rakh Amb Tali and is disbursing the compensation to the awardees. However some locals/owners of land being acquiesced have filed objections and High Court J&K has passed a status quo order on disbursement of compensation till next hearing to the awardees   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
