Reasi, May 20: Police today claimed to have recovered an abducted girl with the arrest of abductor after hectic search launched for the last few days. "The accused has been identified namely as Ajay Kumar of Chack Bhagta, Katra, police said. Police spokesman said that a complaint was lodged with the police by parents of the girl alleging that their daughter has been kidnaped by one Ajay Kumar of Chack Bhagta of Katra and others on May 8." Following written complaint, a case accordingly was registered against FIR No.71/2015 u/s 363/109 of RPC at Police Station Katra. "On specific information about the movement of accused alongwith girl at Railway Bridge near Panthal, a police team was rushed to aforesaid spot from where police recovered the girl from possession of the accused, police said, adding that accused Ajay Kumar has been taken into custody for further questioning. Police have got the girl medically examined as girl was kept into confinement by accused for last 10 days and medical reports are awaited.
