Srinagar, June 10: Two tourists from West Bengal were killed and as many, including a driver, were injured when their vehicle came under a huge snow avalanche in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said here today.
They said a cab carrying three tourists from Kolkata, came under a huge snow avalanche at Khardongla pass in Ladakh region.
Two tourists identified as Foumy Basu and Rajshree Basu died while another tourist Palaman Basu and driver Abdul Haq were rescued in injured condition and shifted to hospital, they said. |
