Early Times Report Srinagar, Jun e 10: Jammu and Kashmir Government Employees and Workers Joint Action Committee (EWJAC) today condemned lathi charge on Local Bodies employees' yesterday peaceful protest rally at summer capital. According to press release, a joint of meeting of JKEWJAC was held under the chairmanship of Babu Husain Malik. Speaking on the occasion, all the representatives in one voice condemned the yesterday's brutal lathicharge on the peacefully protesting employees of Local Bodies and warned the state government to desist from the path of violence and dictatorship. "Employees are fighting for their genuine rights. Otherwise all the employees will come on the streets to oppose the anti employees policy of the government", the committee warned government, adding that the state government should full fill all pending demands of employees. The meeting was condemned previous state government for deliberately betraying from the commitment made between the employees and the government on March 10, 2008, February 19, 2009 and September 15, 2011. "Where in it was promised to fulfill all the agreed demands of the employees but nothing was done and described the pay anomalies committee made by the governor as an eye was just befool the clerical cadre employees", he said. |
