| VHP warns direct action in case Govt fails to act against Geelani, others | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 10: VHP today warned the Government that in case it failed to stop Hurriyat hardliner Ali Shah Geelani from holding proposed anti India conference in Srinagar on June 14 it as well as Bajrang Dal and other nationalist organizations will be forced to take direct action and Government will be responsible for all consequences.
Enough is enough and no separatist leader will be allowed to hold anti India Conference in Kashmir as the same is fraught with dangerous consequences, VHP patron Dr Rama Kant Dueby told reporters here.
The Government should act firmly and frustrate the designs of Hurriyat hardliner leader, Syed Ali Shah Geelani who is going to organize an anti India seminar at Srinagar on June 14, Dr Dubey said.
He asked the Government to stop separatists from holding the seminar and take a tough action against all those anti India and anti national elements attending the seminar from all over the country and no body should be allowed to threaten unity and integrity of the country.
Challenging Geelani and other separatists for terming India a fascist State, Dr Dubey said these were the intolerant separatists like Geelani who are fascists and forced about five lakh Hindus - the indigenous people of the Valley to leave Kashmir on gun point. Geelani should first know the meaning of word fascism and if one goes through the literary meaning of it, then Geelani should keep himself on the top of the list of fascists, Dr Dubey added.
He, while taking serious exception to Geelani's outbursts against Prime Minster Narendra Modi, Indian State and other nationalist organizations said that VHP will not tolerate this. He accused Geelani of playing in the hands of Pakistan to wage a war against India.
He said Geelani be arrested immediately and deported to Pakistan as such people have no place in India.
Dr Dubey said Geelani and people like him are quite aware that at the time of partition refugees of Muzzafarabad were to be rehabilitated in the Valley which was tooth and nail resisted by Kashmiri leaders. Geelani every time spills venom against India as he does not consider himself an Indian born Citizen. Then under what right he becomes the crusader and savior of Kashmiri Muslims, Dr Dubey asked?
He said Geelani has invited those people in the conference who are working on the agenda of disintegrating India and no nationalist Indian will tolerate this at any level. He said Akali Dal leader Simranjeet Singh Mann, Kanwar Pal Singh from Dal Khalsa, some members of Christian community, Gautam Nolakha a so called human rights activist who have been supporting the so called freedom movement in Kashmir and condoning the atrocities committed by the separatists on minority Hindus in Valley are attending this conference.
Dr Dubey said it Geelani like people should be dealt with iron hands at this stage as he is working on the unfinished pre 1947 mission of Muslim League which is dangerous for nation. Terming it a conspiracy against India, he said that Geelani and others have direct backing of ISI and other Pakistani agencies.
He said Centre and State governments should act firmly and not allow the separatists to hold such seminars in a sensitive State like J&K which led the nation to bleed constantly for last 26 years now.
Working president VHP Hem Raj Khajuria, its general secretary, Dr Sham Lal Gupta, Mahanagar general secretary Shakti Dutt Sharma and Rakesh Sharma co-convener Bajrang Dal were also present in the press conference. |
