USC demands FIR U/S 302 against SSP Uttam Chand

Jammu, June 10: United Sikh Council (J&K) alleged that the killing of Sikh youth was not only a violation of the human rights but a high handed pre designed conspiracy of the authorities and demanded registered of FIR under section 302 against the SSP Uttam Chand.
Addressing the media persons, president of USC Kuldeep Singh demanded that the name of the police official be made public and appropriate action be taken against the said official. It is not out of place to mention that SSP Uttarn Chand was present on spot at the time of the firing and it is evident that he was responsible for the firing. USC showed its graphite to all communities who have supported the Sikh community during of hour of crises and expressed faith on the secular fabric of J&K and all communities are always prepared to raise their voice against the police atrocities.
He alleged that apathy of government in taking care of other Sikh youth who were injured on the fateful day and also action against the police force for using blatant force on peaceful residents of Simbal, Rani Bagh and Gadigarh areas. Even children and women were not spared by the police and power was misused without any instigation by the peace loving Sikh community. United Sikh Council has framed a committee comprising of seven members who will look into day to day affairs being confronted by the sikh community and make all out efforts for forging unity of all Sikh organizations in the interest of the Sikh community.
