JAMMU, June 10: A 'FELICITATION FUNCTION' was organized by LIC, INDIA, in DHSS Shastri Nagar, Jammu today, to honour the meritorious students who excelled in class 8th Board Exams conducted by DIET Jammu and class 10th and 12th Board Exams conducted by JK BOSE. Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister, Higher Education J&K, was the Chief Guest on this occasion who congratulated the outstanding students and added that study with consistency is the key to success. The Chief Guest along with the guests of honour Sh. Rajesh Gupta, Br. Manager LIC distributed the student of the year Trophies among the meritorious students. The school bagged 5 positions in 8th class along with sixteen distinctions, 16th position in 10th class and 16 distinctions, 16 subject wise positions and 26 distinctions in 12th class Board Examinations.
The Principal of the institution, Devinder Kour, highlighted the academic performance of the students. Sweets were distributed among the students and the function ended with a vote of thanks presented by Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Managing Director of the School. |
