Nisar of JKP bags Salal Kesari dangal title

Reasi, June 10: J&K Police wrestler, Nisar Ahmed of Doda lifted the Salal Kesari dangal title outplaying Tinku of Rohtak in Haryana in the main bout of the 77th Kambal Danga (Reasi) Dangal held at Kambal Danga in district Reasi.
Dangal was organized by Jai Peer Baba Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association. The event held under the overall supervision of president of the Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma and Advocate Pawan Dev Singh. Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Reasi, Advocate Ajay Nanda was chief guest who gave away cash prize to the winners and runners-up wrestlers. Sanjay Singh (ASP), Jugal Kishore (Manager HR NHPC) and District Youth Services and Sports Officer Reasi, Dr Swarn Singh Chib were guests of honour.
Winner of title bout, Nazir Ahmed was awarded with cash prize of Rs 6,000 along with while runners-up, Tinku got Rs 5,000 as prize money.
Also present were Tehsildar Reasi, Sheesh Paul, Tehsildar Pouni, Munshi Ram, Naib Tehsildar Reasi, Suraj Singh, ZPEO Reasi Om Parkash Sharma, ZEPO Chasana Manohar Lal Sharma, Raj kumar Sharma, Pritam Singh and Rattan Singh.
Members and technical officials who helped for the conduct of this event included Masheshwar Singh, Dalip Singh, Pwan Dev Singh, Suram Chand, Mohan Lal Bali, Murad Ali, Balbir singh, Jasbir Singh, Pawan singh, Deepak Wazir, Captain Lehar Singh, Mohd. Fareed, Nazir Ahmed, Pawan Kumar, Deeraj Kumar and Murli Dhar (Munna).
Others Results: Akram of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu beat Tinku of Harayana, Amir Khan of Nargada of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu beat Raj Kumar of Delhi, Bobari of Sarore beat Bodh Raj of Sonipat, Kulbir Singh of kot Bhawal Domana beat Romesh of Baranar (UP), Dillar Khan of J&K Police beat Krishan of Sonipat, Rajesh Sharma of J&K Police beat Chinni of Banaras, Hossiar Singh of J&K Police beat Sonu of Ramnagar, Rinku of Delhi beat Muneer Khan of Domana Akhara, Bhollu of Rohtak beat Muskeen Ali of Ramnagar, Herbind of Baranasi beat Swarn Singh of Kot Bhawal, Rajan of Banaras beat Dinu of Kathua, Laikat ali of Panthal beat Yeshbir Fougi of Phagwara, Prahald Kalakote beat Asraf Mallerkotla, KP Singh of Kalakote beat Karnail Singh of Narkote. Bout played between Roshan Lal of J&K Police and Lallu of Bajrangi Akhara ended in a draw. Meanwhile, former national champion Som Beer of Rohtak was honoured by Kambal Danga Dangal Committee. He was presented with a cheque amounting to Rs 11,000 and "Maa Ki Chunni" by chief guest, who was accompanied by Shiv kumar Sharma, Pawan Dev Singh and Masheshwar Singh.
