Amarnath Yatra-2015: Railways Police review security 6/16/2015 12:00:04 AM Early Times Report Jammu, June 15: In view of present security scenario and forthcoming of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, Railways police, Jammu held a security and Crime review meeting at Railway Station Jammu. According to press release, the meeting was chaired by Suram Singh SP, Railway Jammu, was attended by SDPO Railways Jammu/Vijaypur, Dy.SP GRP Lines Jammu and all Incharge of Police Stations and PPs of GRP Jammu. During the course of said meeting the existing security arrangements, deployment, track checking and other such security issues connected with safety and security of Railway track, trains and passengers were discussed. All the participants were asked to remain well connected and coordnated with each other in view of present security scenario and forthcoming of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra with regard to security duties, as the security of Railways is the prime concern of every one. All the participants were briefed that compromise with security related duties shall not be tolerated at any cost as GRP is meant for the security of both men and material of Railways. GRP Jammu has to take proper care of the security of railways by utilizing the services of available manpower prudently. To thwart the evil designs of ANE/ASE's there is need to remain vigilant and active. SP Railways Jammu also reviewed all the pending cases of all Police Stations of GRP Jammu. Necessary directions were given to speed up the disposal of the pending cases. The concerned officers were directed that the Departmental enquiries be disposed off on fast track basis and Disposal of pending complaints be done speedily.
