| Where is summer secretariat, ask Jammuites | | |

Jammu, June 15: Even after making an announcement that the government would set up summer secretariat here in the winter capital, the roster of ministers available is yet to be released.
After lot of hue and cry was raised before the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh and MoS PMO Dr Jitendra Singh, an assurance was given to the people of Jammu that soon the practice of holding a summer secretariat would begin.
Dr Jitendra, during his visit to Jammu this month, had said, "We have conveyed to our alliance partner in the state government that the presence of government has to be made visible across the mountains of Pir Panjal."
Later Dr Nirmal had also assured the people of Jammu that the summer secretariat would be made functional, but so far nothing has been done in this regard.
Neither the General Administration Department nor any other state government authority has so far issued a roster with details and schedule of availability of senior ministers in the secretariat complex to listen to the people. |
