Govt School excels in part ll exams CEO for rewarding Principal, Staff members 6/16/2015 12:34:03 AM Early Times Report Doda, June 15: Government Higher Secondary School Jatheli in Doda district brought laurels in the recently declared results HS part two examination. The overall pass percentage of the school is 70 percent with three distinctions and thirty first divisions. Three students who passed the said examination with distinction are Madhu Sharma, daughter of Rajesh Kumar, Narinder Kumar, son of Harbans Lal and Rajesh Kumar, son of Budhi Singh. As per the release, they secured 376, 372 and 371 out of 500 marks respectively. Besides this, thirty students got first divisions in the exam. Pertinent to mention here Govt HSS Jatheli falls in rural area which is 26 km from district headquarter and most of the students come from the adjoining villages covering more than five kilometers of distance daily by foot. The school building comprises of total six rooms including four class rooms, one office room and one laboratory room.The construction work on the under construction building is going on at snail's pace and a single room has not been completed for last ten years. Impressed by the endevour of the students, Principal of the school, Abdul Latief Butt gave whole credit to the students, their parents and the teachers of the school.
