| Grameen Bank organizes awareness camp | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, June 15: J&K Grameen Bank organized camp at far flung village Daver Gurez, to make aware people about well fare schemes, recently launched by the union government.
According to press release, the camp was organized under the Chairmanship of Vagish Chander Sharma in collaboration with NABARD organized awareness programme on the recently launched Pradhan Mantri's Social Security Schemes at Village Daver Gurez, Bandipora.
DDM NABARD spoke at length about the various schemes of NABARD i.e., Farmer Clubs (FC's), Self Help Groups (SHG's) & Joint Liability Groups (JLG's). LDM Bandipora also spoke about various bank schemes and urged people to avail banking facilities from J&K Grameen Bank Branch.
Speaking on the occasion VK Sharma Senior Manager MF&FI Department J&K Grameen Bank informed the participants at length regarding the benefits of newly launched schemes named (PMJJBY) Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, (PMSBY) Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and (APY) Atal Pension Yojana.
He further informed the gathering that these schemes have been designed to provide security cover to the poor population particularly those working in the unorganized sectors.
He advised the people to avail this benefit through nearest Grameen Bank Branch. District Manager Bandipora also spoke on the occasion.
The said camp was attended by large no. of gathering besides Panchs and Sarpanchs of the area. Branch Manger Gurez, presented Vote of thanks. |
