Pre-arrest bail denied to alleged fraudsters

Jammu, June 15: Principal Sessions Judge Jammu RS Jain rejected the pre-arrest bail application of two accused namely Tanvir Hussain and Zakir Hussain who duped peoples on assurance of employment.
According to police case that on 17.1.2015, complainant Parmesh Kumar filed a complaint in police station Miran Sahib averring therein t one peer Abdul Majid Shah in Kothli Mian Fatah, tehsil R.S.Pura had duped him of Rs. 3.50 lakhs assuring him appointment in government service, but did not get any employment order and also did not return the money.
Abdul Majid has also duped other people of their money to give them employment orders. It has been further averred in the police report that on 16.1.2015, complainant went to house of Abdul Majid and that Abdul Majid and his sons armed with weapons came and attacked the complainant and he ran away to save his life. In this report FIR No.9/2015 for offence u/s 420/504/506 RPC/4/25 Arms Act was registered in police station Miran Sahib and during investigation, the IO took the statements of witnesses and it came out that Abdul Majid posing a saintly person gives false assurances to people that he would get government jobs on payment of money and during interrogation, Abdul Majid acknowledged that he has taken money from 42 person on assurance of getting them jobs and in this racket, Abdul Sheikh, Mohd Aslam Bhat, Mohd Yasin, Ghulam Mohiudin, Bashir Ahmed Bhat and Moneer Ahmed are also involved but they cannot be traced out. That Abdul Majid Shah, Zakir Hussain Shah and Tanvir Hussain have got interim anticipatory bauil and not attending the investigation. Weapons are to be recovered from the accused and money is yet to be recovered.
Principal Sessions Judge Jammu Mr. RS Jain after hearing both the sides observed that the allegations coming against the accused persons in the police report is heinous and denied pre-arrest bail to the accused persons.
