Jammu, June 15 : A summer camp was organised for the children of Akhnoor Garrison by the Chenab Gunners Brigade under the aegis of the Crossed Swords Division.
According to press release, a number of exciting activities were conducted for the children during the Camp including Air Pistol Firing, Parasailing, Go Karting, Arts and Crafts, Photography, Dance and Music, Best of Waste, Cooking Without Fire, Pottery, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, visits to places of historical interest and Home for Destitute Women, Tree Plantation, classes on FirstAid, Traffic Rules and Conservation of Water and Electricity,Public Speaking and Abacus and games to include, Badminton, Basketball and Kho Kho. The programme was graced by the presence of Maj Gen Kulpreet Singh, General Officer Commanding, Crossed Swords Division and Naveeta K Singh, Chairperson, Family Welfare Organisation, Crossed Swords Division, who felicitated the talented children for their commendable performance during the Camp. |
