Jammu, June 15 : The nine-day long adventure camp, organized by Apple Kids International Pre-School, Bantalab concluded with the valedictory function at the school premises, here today. Prof Lalit Magotra, Coordinator Dogri Advisory Board Sahitya Academy, New Delhi, was chief guest, who distributed prizes among the winners of the various competitions held during the camp. "During the camp, participants in the age group of three to 12 years were trained in Sport Climbing, beam balancing, Tarzan Swing, rope knots and tent pitching. Films on adventure were screened which kept the small children spell bound" , informed Principal of the School, Puja Sharma. Besides adventure activities, over 100 participants from various local schools, enjoyed dance and music, taekwando, yoga, splash pool, a magic show, camel riding, horse riding and number of creative activities in art and craft. Competitions in sport climbing, taekwando, dance, music, art and craft were also organized on different days of the camp and winners were honored on the concluding day. The activities were held under the guidance of Poonam Misra and Rajni Verma (art and craft), Gurinder Rakwal (taekwando), Nitin Kumar (dance), Preeti Kesar and Vivek (music) and Akshi Sharma.
