Kargil, June 15: One person went missing while three others were injured Monday after a car they were travelling near skidded off the road and fell into Suru river in Kargil region, an official said.
The car was travelling from Drass to Kargil when the mishap happened near Kharool village at 11:30 am today. The injured - identified as Haji Shameem and Mohammad Ashraf, both residents of Shaimsha, and Salim Ahmad, resident of Gendeyal, were admitted to the District Hospital.
The search continues for the missing person who is feared to have drowned in the river. |
