JTC, SKF holds joint meeting | | | Early Times Report
mendhar, July 8: Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front today held joint meeting under the presidentship of Shadi Lal Pandita here at Jagti. According to press release, Shadi Lal Pandita has said that neither the Government of India nor the Jammu and Kashmir Government are sincere about rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant in Kashmir Valley and mitigate their sufferings. He further said that it was surprising that the Kashmiri Pandits are the origins of Kashmir valley who have been forced to migrate and the government is sleeping over the matter. The Kashmiri Pandits are the loyals over the matter. The Kashmiri Pandits are the loyals and patriots of Indian National but is unfortunate that this community has been living a life of exile for past more than 25 years. Pandita has demanded that at least Rs. 50.00 lacs as compensation of losses suffered by each and every Migrant family during past more than 25 years due to damaged, gutted, looted properties and such has demanded compensation of Rs. 50.00 lacs to each and every Migrant families. He further demanded bringing up three satellite townships in Kashmir valley near Srinagar City for Permanent rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant community with dignity in safe and secure way. He has also demanded political reservation for the community in J&K State Legislature as well as Parliament of India to give due representation to the community. Prominent who were present in the meeting are Rajinder Dhar, Rattan Lal Bhat, Sanjay Pandita, M.L. Akhoon, M.L. Pandita, Hari Krishan, Methan Pandita, S.L. Kar, P.N. Bhat, Sunil Koul and Raj Nath. |
