JAMMU, July 8: Winning all their league ties the topper of group-D, Khalsa Cricket Club today sailed into the knock-out stages of the quarterfinals in the ongoing Chevrolet Cricket Cup 2015, sponsored by KC Motors and being played at KC Public School ground, here. In today's match, Khalsa Club defeated Prince Cricket Club by three wickets. Earlier, batting first, after winning the toss, Prince bowled out for 100 runs in 19.4 overs. Bhannu and Sahil were top scorers with 23 and 28 runs in their respective accounts. Mohit took four wickets while Abhishek secured two from Khalsa Club. The target of 101 runs was chased by Khalsa Club in 17.4 overs for the loss of seven wickets. Minkel remained top scorer with 26 runs while Sukhwinder contributed 15 runs. Jagga bagged three wickets and Aditya two from Prince Club. For restricting opponent to a low score with his four wickets haul, Mohit was named man of the match and given away a Westside Coupon worth Rs 500 by the organizers.
