Newly-wed commits suicide 7/19/2015 12:01:38 AM Early Times Report Reasi , July 18: A 25 year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance mysteriously at her residence in Bhamla of Pouni Tehsil in Reasi district. "The deceased has been identified as Shakuntala Devi wife of Rashpal of Pouni Tehsil in Reasi district, police sources said. They said that the lady fell unconscious mysteriously at her residence and her family members immediately shifted her to the nearby hospital from where after preliminary treatment she was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu where she failed to respond the treatment and died. "After legal formalities, the body was handed over to family members for last rites, police sources said.Meanwhile Police have registered a case and started investigation in this regard to ascertain the exact reasons behind why the lady took such an extreme step.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
