Early Times Report
Jammu, July 18: To settle score with their political opponents, BJP ministers in the coalition government have reportedly directed officers to prepare files regarding all misdeeds of ministers of the previous National Conference-Congress government, which ruled the state from 2008 to 2014.
Credible sources in the corridors of power that following directions from the high command to adopt aggressive posture, BJP ministers have started collecting evidiences of misdeeds and bungling committed by the previous regime. "Some officers have given this particular task to visit office of the State Accountability Commission and Vigilance Department to collect all complaints of corruption which were filed against Jammu based ministers of previous regime", sources in the government said and revealed that already files have been prepared against some Congress and National Conference ministers.
Credible sources further said that BJP ministers have been particularly collecting evidences of state land or forest land encroached by the ministers of the previous government. "While as the Forest Minister has already collected authentic evidences against two former ministers-one belonging to NC and another to Congress, who have encroached upon Forest land, some other ministers are also in the hit list", sources said and added that BJP ministers are targeting those ministers who were their rivals in their respective constituencies.
Sources said that due to infighting in the Congress, some party leaders have been providing proofs to BJP ministers regarding misdeeds of their own party colleagues during the tenure of previous regime. "Some Congress leaders are also working as agents of BJP ministers to provide them sufficient proofs against former Congress ministers", sources said.
