Marh Aug 5: The Rural Development Department launched state-wide "My Village, My World" campaign to focus on planned development of rural areas, conservation of water bodies and ensuring polythene free environs in the villages. The unique initiative is aimed at focused and sustainable rural regeneration. It is about preservation and revival of J&K's natural and historical heritage and stimulating the rural economy at the same time. 'My Village, My World', the Rural Development Department is embarking on a mission envisaging creation of awareness about planned constructions in rural areas, removal of polythene from every village Panchayat, and protection of water bodies rivers, streams, nullahs and springs. On this occasion BDO Marh along with team members visited most of the panchayat in block Marh to make successful of this mission. All the sarpanchs of the panchayat take and give oath to the general public of the panchayat to make My Village should be clean and green because my village is my world and every sarpanch take one village from their respective area. Large numbers of the people participated in the meeting and all of them enthusiastic for launch of this mission. On this occasion Block Development Officer Marh and other officials were also present. |
