Kishtwar, Aug 5: For establishing work culture in Degree College Kishtwar, the Principal directed all the staff members including teachers not to leave the college premises during college hours and lock the gates. Similarly the students have been directed not to leave the college before 3 PM. The Principal Dr Aftab Ahmed Khan vide order No. Kst/Coll/15/889 dated 4-08-2015 directed gate keepers to lock the main gate from inside and not to allow trespassing of visitors or students. "The visitors are asked to visit college after 2 PM including admission seekers for Distance Education (MANU, IGNOU and DDE). Further, faculty is requested to cooperate and in no case shall leave the campus before 3 PM on all working days" read the order. The Principal said that due to his efforts, the government had sanctioned around 2 Cr for over all development of the college under RUSA. He said that as a part of security, the college will soon have CCTV cameras at various locations. He said MLA Kishtwar Sunil Kumar Sharma who is also minister in the government had sanctioned funds out of his Constituency Development Fund for purchasing of CCTV's, added that same will be installed shortly within the college premises. |
