KUPWARA, Aug 5: Throwing norms to winds, a ReT rejoined after four months without any formal order, after tendering his resignation to ZEO Trehgam in Kupwara district of North Kashmir. According to sources, "the candidate namely Pirzada Ghulam Mohammad (Aijaz) S/O Pirzada Shafeeq Ahmad R/O Awoora was appointed as a Rehbar-e Taleem (ReT) under Sarwai Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) at Government Primary School (GPS) Bran Awoora in Kupwara district on 02/03/2004. The ReT gets regularized on 02/03/2009, after which he resigned from the post of Regular Rehbar-e Taleem (RReT). The said teacher has tendered his resignation to ZEO on 20/04/2015 along with an affidavit in which he had given reasons and willingness for his resignation. The ZEO forwarded the resignation to the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kupwara after a gap of twelve days that is on 02/05/2015, vide order no: ZEOT/Estt/15/316, dated: 2/5/2015. Sources wishing anonymity said that at the behest of Zonal Education Planning Officer (ZEPO) Trehgam, Mohammad Sayeed Pir, the ReT has rejoined in some far flung areas of Trehgam Zone. The concerned ZEPO is the maternal uncle of ReT, who has created mess in the education department of Kupwara district. It is also learnt that the influential ZEPO has transferred many teachers of his choice at different places in Kupwara district. Sources said that the RReT teacher has rejoined in Government High School Jumangand as an additional teacher without any formal order. They added that ReT has signed on the arrival from last four days, which has put every teacher in a state of melancholy. "I have written a letter to CEO Kupwara for further information and necessary action, after which I have not received any reply so for, said ZEO. He immediately added that "it is the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) who has to accept or reject the resignation of the said ReT. |
