Jammu, Aug 5: Throwing the government order on detachment of teachers in Education Department to dustbin, a Zonal Education Officer in Rajouri has not detached a teacher who is posted as a clerk in his office for last six years. Governor NN Vohra, taking a serious notice of the deteriorating Education Department in the state, had issued an order on detachment of all teachers to their original posting place early this year. But in Rajouri, flouting the norms, a teacher Rakesh Kumar is attached in the office of ZEO (Lower Hathal) as a clerk for the last six years and is not detached to his original posting place at Government Middle School Rugga Chani Patat. When contacted the Chief Education Officer (CEO) district Rajouri, AH Fani he feigned ignorance about the issue and said that there was no such case in his knowledge. "There is no such issue in my notice so far, but I will enquire about it and will take appropriate action after knowing the factual position on the ground," he added. |
