Vijaypur , Aug 5: Power Development Department today launched the drive against the illegal use of electricity in W. No. 12, Vijaypur.
A team under the supervision of AEE., E.M.&R.E. Sub Division, Vijaypur visited in W. No. 12, Vijaypur in complaint lodged by the local residents regarding uncertain and un-schedule curtailment and load shedding of electricity due to the illegal use of electricity. The team intensify the drive with the motive to stop the steeling of electricity. The team has cut off many illegal connections and many people have obtained power connection on spot. The people of Vijaypur hailed the step of PDD and said that the steps should be taken in other wards also against the illegal users and those who have installed A.Cs. without connection in order to the stop the mis-use/steel of electricity. Due to the over load the transformers are faulted and the people who have taken the legal connection also suffered due to the act of the illegal users. |
