Jammu, Aug 5: Criticizing the illegal arresting, detention of Panther Party leaders, National Panther Student Union (NPSU) today staged a protest demonstration outside Jammu University. According to press release, the protest organized under the leadership of Thakur Virender Singh. Condemning illegal arrest, detention and assault on the panther party leader, NPSU demanded immediate action against police who were assaulting JKNPP President Balwant Singh its General Secretary Anita Thakur, Jagdev Singh Coordination Secretary, Ashok Randawa Provincial Secretary, Sham Gorkha Vice-President PTU, Anil Rakwal Young Panthers District President (Jammu Rural), Kailash Mohan and Garu Lal this morning while they were holding peaceful protest in support of AIIMS in Jammu. He appealed the people, working class and particularly the youth and students to take on the roads to expose, oppose and depose the authoritarian and anti-people government in J&K. Singh asserted that the BJP's credibility has immensely dissipated with the Saffron party losing ground in its constituency by obnoxiously playing with the aspirations and the sentiments of the people of Jammu Pradesh and further maintained that the people will never forgive BJP for its gross breach of commitment over AIIMS issue which only hung their heads in shame and humiliation. Singh further said that nobody can crush this mass ongoing agitation with muscle power BJP leaders should understand this that people of Jammu are united now for the cause of AIIMS. |
